Jaanuu Scrubs Reviewed: What Nurses Actually Say in 2026

How we put this together, and our bias

We make scrubs. That is a bias, so here is our method instead of a request that you trust us. We pulled Jaanuu’s entire public catalog from jaanuu.com in late October 2026, about 630 apparel listings once you count each color as its own product, and mapped every one by fabric, fit, size and price. We read Jaanuu’s fabric and return pages, and the customer reviews on jaanuu.com for its most-reviewed styles, concentrating on the critical ones. We have not worn these ourselves, so there is no invented wear test below. Every opinion is attributed to where it came from.

Jaanuu is the brand people most often weigh against FIGS, and its own customers rate it highly. Its most-reviewed styles sit around 4.8 stars on jaanuu.com.

Most Jaanuu reviews stop at soft and stylish. The more useful finding is about color. On Jaanuu, the color you pick can change the price by half, decide whether you can return it, and, on light shades, decide whether the fabric is see-through. Pick the color with that in mind and most of the complaints below are avoidable.

The short version

What reviewers consistently like

  • Soft fabric, especially the rayon-rich UltraSOFT line
  • A tailored, fashion-forward look
  • Petite, regular and tall lengths for women, short and tall for men
  • Women’s sizes from XXS to 3X
  • Frequent sales on specific colors

What comes up repeatedly as a problem

  • Light colors that show through on some fabrics
  • Sizing that shifts between colors of the same style
  • Some styles running small, especially men’s tops
  • Shrinking and pilling reports on the softest pants
  • Many discounted colors are final sale

On Jaanuu, price is set by color, not by style

This is the part nobody else has laid out. When we went through the catalog, 160 of roughly 630 apparel listings were marked down, about one in four. The median markdown was 40% off. And the discount is applied color by color, so the same style can be full price in one shade and half off in the next.

Helia Slim V-Neck Top

Caribbean Blue, Burgundy$44, full price

Titanium$21.99

Heather Gray$10.99

Perri Yoga Scrub Pant

Hunter Green, Espresso$58, full price

Sky Blue$43.50

Titanium$28.99

Xenos Knit-Waist Pant

Espresso, Hunter Green$44, full price

Sky Blue$33

Deep Olive$26.40

31 of the 89 distinct styles had at least one color at full price and another on sale at the same time. Jaanuu’s store also ran sale events at least eight times between April and October 2026, including flash sales in April, May, June, August and twice in October, plus Labor Day.

The catch: a lot of sale colors are final sale

Jaanuu offers free returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery on unwashed, unworn items with tags. Final sale items are excluded. Of the 160 discounted listings we found, 71 were tagged final sale. One jaanuu.com reviewer of the Perri pant said she could not exchange a sale pair for the same sale price in the next size, so she returned it instead.

Practical takeaway: on Jaanuu, choose the color first and check two things on that exact color’s page: whether it is final sale, and which fabric it is. Two colors of the same style can differ on both.

If that is your sticking point: Titan prices its core driMED® line the same in every color, every day, and non-clearance orders come with free returns and exchanges. A full set is $75 to $77.

The see-through problem, and the fabric Jaanuu built for it

The most pointed complaints on jaanuu.com in 2026 are about light colors. On the Perri Yoga Scrub Pant, several May 2026 reviewers called their light-colored pair see-through, one saying it was not professional for a medical setting. A Xenos Cargo Pant reviewer said a small tattoo showed through, and that leggings underneath did not fully fix it.

Jaanuu has moved to address it. In November 2025 it began releasing UltraLAST+, which its fabrics page describes as the core UltraLAST fabric upgraded with specialized Japanese yarns to make light-colored scrubs opaque. When we checked, UltraLAST+ covered only 15 listings, mostly lighter shades like Mint, Rose Quartz and Birch across styles such as the Aria top, Kerr and Xenos pants and the Silex jogger.

Practical takeaway: if you want a light color from Jaanuu, look for UltraLAST+ on the product page. UltraSOFT in a pale shade is where most of the see-through reports come from.

What reviewers say, style by style

Jaanuu’s on-site reviews are strongly positive. The Silex Slim Scrub Jogger shows about 4.9 stars from roughly 450 reviews, the Perri Yoga Scrub Pant about 4.8 from roughly 480, and the Calix Fit and Flare top, men’s Holmes top and men’s Osmo jogger all about 4.8 from 200 or more. These are reviews on the brand’s own site, so we focused on the patterns in the critical ones.

Perri Yoga Pant: soft, with durability questions

Beyond the see-through reports, the Perri drew the most specific complaints in 2026. One reviewer said her tall pants shrank nearly two inches after washing as directed, and that the replacement pair did the same. Another reported pilling on the inner thigh after the first day, and a petite buyer said the pants lost their shape and turned baggy over time. A navy-to-ceil buyer said the two colors were not cut the same in her size.

If that is your sticking point: driMED® is mostly hydrophobic synthetic fiber with moisture wicking built into the yarn, made to hold its shape, and its odor control held up through 50 washes in independent ASTM testing.

Silex Slim Jogger: the best-reviewed pant

Most Silex reviewers rate it true to size. The recurring notes are a snug calf, a waistband that sits loose on some, and one useful tip: a reviewer who usually buys petite said she has to buy regular in Jaanuu’s jogger styles or they end up too short.

Men’s tops: check the size chart

The Holmes 1-Pocket Top is well rated overall, but several 2026 reviews said it runs small. On the Osmo 8-Pocket Jogger, one reviewer compared the elastic ankles and roomy thigh to balloon pants and said he would pick a straight leg next time, while another wished for more tall options.

If that is your sticking point: Titan’s size guide covers every driMED® style, and the Achilles Top is $39.

Sizes, lengths and fits

Women’s Jaanuu runs XXS to 3X, with petite, regular and tall lengths. On the Perri pant, for example, the inseams are 29.5, 31.5 and 33.5 inches. Men’s runs XS to 4XL with short, regular and tall lengths. Styles are also grouped by fit: Slim, Classic, Fit and Flare, Straight-Leg, Skinny and Wide Leg, and a Slim top and a Classic top in your usual size will not fit the same.

Jaanuu’s reviewers can tag fit. On the Perri pant, 264 said true to size and 29 said it runs small. On the Calix top and Holmes top, nearly every tag said true to size, though the written reviews tell a slightly different story for the Holmes.

Who owns Jaanuu now

Jaanuu was founded in 2013 by pediatrician Dr. Neela Sethi Young and Shaan Sethi. In May 2025, VentureOn Management bought substantially all of Jaanuu’s assets. The announcement said the name, team and day-to-day operations would continue, with Michael Alexander as CEO. The site is now run by JAANUU Holdings, LLC. Jaanuu also sells through the distributor S&S Activewear, which added the brand in January 2025, and runs its own resale shop.
