How we put this together, and our bias
We make athletic-cut scrubs, so we have an obvious interest in this topic. Everything factual below comes from Lululemon’s own product pages and FAQ, other brands’ official sites, published hospital dress code policies and press coverage, all checked in September 2026. Where something could not be confirmed, we left it out.
“Lululemon scrubs” gets searched thousands of times a month. There is just one problem: they do not exist.
The short answer
No. As of September 2026, Lululemon does not make or sell medical scrubs. Its only healthcare-specific offer is a 15% discount for nurses, doctors and first responders on its regular clothing. Nurses who wear Lululemon to work are wearing joggers and pants from the main line, like the Dance Studio Pant or ABC Jogger, and whether that is allowed depends on your employer’s dress code.
The search makes sense, though. Nurses want scrubs that feel like the clothes they wear to the gym, and for a lot of people Lululemon is the reference point for that feeling. The useful question is not whether Lululemon makes scrubs. It is what you are actually looking for when you search it, and where to get it.
Why everyone is searching for Lululemon scrubs
Three things feed it. First, the phrase “the Lululemon of scrubs” has been attached to scrub brands for years. Forbes ran a 2023 piece calling FIGS the Lululemon of the healthcare apparel market, and FIGS’ own founding story is that athletic brands were not making fitted clothing for healthcare workers.
Second, TikTok. There are whole discover pages for “Lululemon as scrubs” and “nurses who wear Lululemon as scrubs,” mostly showing Dance Studio pants or joggers paired with a scrub top.
Third, knockoffs. Marketplaces list products titled “lululemon scrubs” that have nothing to do with Lululemon, which makes people assume an official line exists somewhere.
The Lululemon pieces nurses actually wear to work
When nurses talk about wearing Lululemon on shift, these are the pieces that come up, all from Lululemon’s regular line:
Dance Studio Mid-Rise Pant
Price$128 list
FabricSwift: 94% nylon, 6% elastane
Care labelMachine wash cold
Why nurses like itTailored jogger look that reads close to a scrub pant
ABC Jogger (men’s)
Price$128
FabricWarpstreme, four-way stretch
Care labelMachine wash cold
Why nurses like itWrinkle resistant with a clean, structured leg
They are popular pants. The question is whether they work as scrubs where you work, and that is mostly not about the fabric.
The dress code problem TikTok does not mention
Most hospitals do not just require “scrubs.” They assign scrub colors by role so patients can tell who is who, and many ban athletic wear outright. Two published examples:
- Huntsville Hospital assigns navy or white to licensed nurses, pewter to techs, black to lab staff and dark green to physicians, and its policy states that sweat pants and jogging pants are not permitted.
- Harris Health assigns white, royal blue or black to nurses and purple or lavender to unlicensed staff, and has operating room staff change into hospital-laundered scrubs on site.
Color coding like this is common because patients find it helpful for identifying staff, which is the finding of an evidence-based dress code project across Magnet hospitals published in American Nurse. So a black Lululemon jogger can fail your dress code twice: once for being athletic wear, and once for being the wrong color for your role. Our guide to scrub colors by role covers the common schemes.
Practical takeaway: before buying anything, check your employer’s dress code for two things: whether it names a required scrub color for your role, and whether it bans athletic or jogging pants. If it does either, you need actual scrubs in the right color.
If you want the feel without the dress code risk: athletic-cut scrubs in standard scrub colors. driMED® joggers come in Midnight Black and Twilight Blue (navy), with Ciel Blue for women and Steel gray for men.
A note on washing
Lululemon’s care labels for these pants say machine wash cold. That is fine for most people, but if you prefer to wash work clothes warm or hot, check the tag first, because a heat-sensitive performance fabric is not built for it. The CDC’s hot-water guidance often quoted online applies to hospital linens processed by the facility, not to scrubs you wash at home, so follow your employer’s policy and the garment’s label.
The price math
A Lululemon Dance Studio Pant or ABC Jogger lists at $128. For comparison, a FIGS Zamora jogger scrub pant is $52, and a Titan Calypso or Hermes jogger is $46 to $48. Fabletics launched its scrub line at $39.95 a piece. Across a work rotation of four or five pants, that difference adds up to hundreds of dollars.
For less than a single pair of Lululemon joggers: a full driMED® set, top and joggers, is $75 to $77.
What to look for in scrubs that feel like athletic wear
If what you actually want is the Lululemon feel in something your hospital will accept, these are the five things to check on any scrub. Here is how Titan’s driMED® line handles each one:
- Four-way stretch. You squat, lift and reach all shift. Every Titan scrub is cut from stretch-twill driMED®, which moves in every direction.
- Moisture wicking that lasts. Look for wicking built into the fiber so it keeps working wash after wash. driMED® builds it into the yarn and dries up to four times faster than cotton.
- Odor control. FreshGuard® is embedded in the driMED® fabric, and its antimicrobial technology held up through 50 wash cycles in independent ASTM testing.
- A jogger cut that fits. The Calypso Joggers (women’s, XS to XL with petite) and Hermes Joggers (men’s, S to XXL) have the tapered, athletic leg people are after with Lululemon.
- Real scrub colors. Midnight Black, Twilight Blue (navy), Ciel Blue and Steel cover the colors most dress codes assign.
Titan was started by a physician who wanted scrubs built like athletic gear. You can read more about how driMED® works.
What about Nike, Under Armour, Vuori and other athletic brands?
The same searches happen for most big activewear names. Here is where each one actually stands in September 2026:
- Nike: no scrubs. Its healthcare product is footwear, the Air Zoom Pulse, a shoe designed for healthcare workers. “Nike scrubs” listings are third-party embroidered jackets and tops.
- Under Armour: no current scrub line. It offers a healthcare worker discount through ID.me on regular gear.
- Vuori, Gymshark and Alo: no scrubs. They show up in TikTok videos of people wearing their joggers to work.
- Fabletics: yes. Fabletics launched scrubs in 2023 and still sells tops, pants, jumpsuits and underscrubs. We covered it in our Fabletics scrubs review.
- Skechers: yes, through a licensing deal. Skechers by Barco sells scrub tops, pants and lab coats.
- New Balance: shoes only, including a nurse sneaker collaboration with FIGS.
Who should just wear Lululemon
Lululemon joggers can work if you...
- Work somewhere without a scrub requirement, like some outpatient clinics, PT and wellness settings
- Have a dress code that allows your own pants in a neutral color
- Wear them as a layer or commute piece rather than on the floor
- Are happy washing them cold
You need actual scrubs if you...
- Have an assigned scrub color for your role
- Work under a policy that bans athletic or jogging pants
- Want deep scrub pockets for a phone, pens and shears
- Need to replace pants often and want to keep cost down

No. As of September 2026, Lululemon does not make or sell medical scrubs and has no healthcare apparel line. It offers a 15% discount for nurses, doctors and first responders on its regular clothing.
Can you wear Lululemon pants as scrubs?

What is the Lululemon of scrubs?

Does Nike make scrubs?
No. Nike makes the Air Zoom Pulse shoe for healthcare workers but no scrubs. Items sold as Nike scrubs are third-party embroidered apparel.
Does Lululemon have a nurse discount?
Yes. Lululemon offers a 15% discount for nurses, doctors, EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement and search and rescue, applied to its regular products.
Where Titan fits
It is easy to see why nurses want that athletic feel at work.
Titan brings that same stretch, fit and sweat handling into an actual scrub built for a hospital dress code. Titan was founded by a physician who wanted scrubs built like athletic gear, and driMED® builds moisture wicking into the yarn itself, drying up to four times faster than cotton.
A full set costs less than one pair of premium joggers.
