How we put this together, and our bias
We make scrubs. That is a bias, so here is our method instead of a request that you trust us. We went through Wink’s entire public catalog on winkscrubs.com (about 1,800 products) to map every line’s fabric, fit, sizes and price. We read the most-reviewed Wink products on Walmart, plus nurse discussions on allnurses and nurse.org’s scrub roundup. We have not worn these ourselves, so there is no invented wear test below. Every opinion is attributed to where it came from.
If you have not bought scrubs in a while, you might be looking for WonderWink. It is the same company. In May 2024 WonderWink shortened its name to Wink.
Most Wink reviews treat it as one brand with one fit. It is not. Wink is really a family of eight or so lines with different fabrics, different fits and even different size ladders, and almost every good and bad review you will read makes sense once you know which line the reviewer bought.
The short version
What reviewers consistently like
- Low prices, with many pieces under $30
- Size range up to 5X in the core lines
- Petite, tall and short lengths
- Pocket-heavy pants
- Soft fabric on the W123 and RENEW lines
What comes up repeatedly as a problem
- Sizing that changes between lines, and sometimes between colors
- Static cling on the RENEW pants
- Some pants run short on taller people
- Stiffer, boxier fabric on the WonderWORK budget line
- Clearance and sale items are final sale
What changed when WonderWink became Wink
Wink announced the rebrand on May 21, 2024, saying the healthcare workers are the wonders, not the brand. Trade coverage in Modern Retail reported that leadership felt the old branding had started to feel too childish, and that the relaunch leaned into style-led function to compete with direct-to-consumer brands. The logo got a modern update and the RENEW collection was relaunched alongside it.
Wink is based in Coppell, Texas, and is owned by Superior Group of Companies, which bought it in 2018. The same business also makes Carhartt-branded scrubs under license, which is why about a third of the winkscrubs.com catalog is Carhartt. If you read our Carhartt scrubs review, that is the same manufacturer.
Practical takeaway: the old name still shows up everywhere. Retailers and Walmart list products as WonderWink, Wink or both, and wonderwinkscrubs.com now redirects to winkscrubs.com. It is all the same company.
Wink is eight lines, not one brand
This is the part nobody else has laid out. Here is every current Wink scrub line on winkscrubs.com, with fabric and regular (non-sale) women’s prices for a core top and pant as of September 2026:
Budget lines
WonderWORK65% poly, 35% cotton. Top about $22, pant $22 to $24. Classic fit
NURTUR100% polyester. Top about $20, pant $25. Modern fit
BoundlessPoly, recycled poly and 7% spandex. Top $25, pant $30. Modern fit
Core lines
W123Microfiber polyester four-way stretch. Top $28, pant $30 to $32. Modern fit
RENEWPoly, recycled poly and 5% spandex. Top $35, pant $40 to $45. Modern fit
RENEW Knits78% recycled poly, 22% spandex. Top $40, pant $47
Premium lines
AURA85% nylon, 15% spandex. Top $39, pant $44
BLK EditTrouser-and-blouse look. Top $41, pant $46 to $47
Extended sizesMost core lines add $3 at 1X and up, and $2 for tall
Three things fall out of that catalog that matter when you order:
1. The size ladder is not the same across lines
W123 and RENEW include a 1X size between XL and 2X. WonderWORK, Boundless and NURTUR go straight from XL to 2X. So a 2X in W123 and a 2X in Boundless are not the same step up from XL. If you are on the border, check the size chart for the exact line, not the brand.
2. Classic fit and Modern fit are different cuts
WonderWORK is described as a Classic fit, which is roomier and straighter. W123, Boundless, NURTUR and RENEW are Modern fit, closer through the waist and hip. Your usual size in one may not carry over to the other.
3. One line name can mean two fabrics
Classic W123 styles are 100% microfiber polyester. The newer W123 Flex-n-Reach styles are 94% recycled polyester and 6% spandex. An older W123 review may describe a fabric that is not what ships today.
Practical takeaway: before you order Wink, pick the line first, then the size. Read reviews for that specific line, and if you are between sizes, use the line’s own chart.
What reviewers say, line by line
W123: the most-reviewed line
The W123 Cargo Jogger is one of the most-reviewed Wink pants on Walmart, at 4.6 stars from about 460 reviews. One reviewer said it has six pockets and she uses all of them, and another praised the stretch for squatting. The W123 Stylized V-Neck top sits at 4.6 stars from about 325 ratings, with praise for the soft microfiber and colors that hold up.
The complaints are about consistency. Several reviewers said the fit differed between colors in the same size, and petite lengths were described as running about two inches short.
RENEW: soft, with a static problem
The RENEW Jogger has around 756 Walmart reviews at 4.5 stars. The recurring complaint is static cling, along with the pant running short on people around 5 foot 9 inches and taller, and sizing that is not always consistent.
If that is your sticking point: driMED® is a stretch twill with a natural-fiber component in the blend, rather than an all-synthetic knit.
WonderWORK: cheap and tough, not soft
The WonderWORK budget line is the one to be clear-eyed about. Reviewers describe it as durable and wrinkle resistant but not particularly soft and fairly boxy, with a 3.7 star average on the unisex top. On the WonderWORK mock-wrap top, a reviewer advised going a size up because they run small, and some said the fabric feels stiffer than older versions.
If that is your sticking point: driMED® is a four-way stretch built to move, with moisture wicking in the yarn, and an Athena Top is $39.
Plus-size fit
An older allnurses discussion had plus-size nurses saying WonderWink fit true to size, and today’s core lines run to 5X.
Returns, sale items and where to buy
Wink accepts returns within 30 days of receipt. Each order gets one free return label, and extra labels cost $10. Clearance, sale and flash-sale items are final sale, and roughly a quarter of the catalog was tagged clearance when we checked, so read the product page before you buy a discounted piece. New customers can get 15% off the first order by signing up for email.
Wink sells direct at winkscrubs.com, on Amazon, and through uniform retailers. Some older lines like Aero and WonderFLEX are no longer on the Wink site but are still sold by retailers, so if you are reordering an old favorite, a retailer may be the only place to find it.
Do nursing schools require Wink?
Some do. In our own Nursing School Scrub Requirements Registry, Wallace State Community College requires a Wink brand uniform in royal blue, and Pikes Peak State College names WonderWink alongside Dickies. Our sample is still small, so we would not call it common, but if your program names Wink, you will need to match the exact line and color it specifies.
Who Wink scrubs are actually for
Wink may suit you if you...
- Are buying on a tight budget or for a big rotation
- Need sizes up to 5X, or petite and tall lengths
- Want lots of pockets for the money
- Are a student whose program specifies Wink
- Are happy to learn which line fits you and stick with it
Think twice if you...
- Want one consistent fit across every style you buy
- Are tall and want a longer pant in the RENEW line
- Dislike static-prone synthetic knits
- Want a soft fabric at the lowest price point (WonderWORK is sturdy, not soft)
- Plan to buy mostly on clearance and may need to return
Frequently asked questions
Are Wink scrubs good?
Reviews are mixed by line. The W123 and RENEW lines average around 4.5 to 4.6 stars on Walmart. The main complaints are sizing that varies between lines and colors, static cling on RENEW, and a stiffer feel on the budget WonderWORK line.
Is Wink the same as WonderWink?
Yes. WonderWink rebranded as Wink in May 2024. It is the same Coppell, Texas company, owned by Superior Group of Companies, and wonderwinkscrubs.com now redirects to winkscrubs.com.
Do Wink scrubs run small or big?
It depends on the line. WonderWORK is a roomier Classic fit, though some reviewers say its tops run small. W123, RENEW, Boundless and NURTUR are closer-fitting Modern cuts. W123 and RENEW also add a 1X size between XL and 2X that the other lines do not, so check each line’s chart.
What is the best Wink scrub line?
W123 is the most-reviewed core line for everyday wear. RENEW is softer and slightly pricier. WonderWORK is the cheapest and most durable but the least soft.
How much do Wink scrubs cost?
Regular prices run from about $20 to $41 for a top and $22 to $47 for a pant depending on the line, with $3 more for 1X and up and $2 more for tall. Clearance items are cheaper but final sale.
What is Wink’s return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt with one free return label per order. Clearance, sale and flash-sale items are final sale.
Where Titan fits
Wink offers a wide range of lines, sizes and prices.
Titan is built for a different priority: one performance fabric across every scrub we make, so the feel does not change from style to style. driMED® builds moisture wicking into the yarn, dries up to four times faster than cotton, and its odor control held up through 50 washes in independent ASTM testing.
If you are tired of learning a new fabric for every line, that is the difference worth testing.
