FIGS vs Jaanuu vs Titan: An Honest 2026 Comparison

How we put this together, and our bias

We make scrubs, so we have a stake in this comparison. Here is the method instead of a request that you trust us. Fabric compositions, prices, size ranges and return terms come straight from the FIGS and Jaanuu websites and help centers, checked in September 2026. Nurse opinions are attributed to where they were posted. We have not run a wear test on either brand, so there is no invented one below.

FIGS and Jaanuu get compared constantly, and on paper they are closer than most people expect.

Both charge roughly $85 to $100 for a top and pant at full price. Both ship free at $50 and take returns for 30 days. Both use a Silvadur antimicrobial finish. The real differences are fabric feel, size range and how many fabrics you have to choose between, and those decide which one suits you far more than the logo does.

Practical takeaway: within your size range, the choice between these three comes down to how you want the fabric to feel and how it handles a long, hot shift.

Jaanuu is three fabrics, and the one you pick matters more than the brand

This is the part most FIGS vs Jaanuu comparisons skip. FIGS sells a lot of styles, but most of the core line is built on one fabric, FIONx. Jaanuu splits its range across three fabric families that behave differently:

  • ULTRAsoft is 65% rayon, 30% nylon and 5% spandex. It is the soft, drapey fabric most people mean when they say Jaanuu feels nicer than FIGS. It is also the most expensive line.
  • ULTRAlite is 92% recycled polyester and 8% spandex, a lighter option.
  • ULTRAlast is Jaanuu's durability line, described as four-way stretch and wrinkle and fade resistant. Jaanuu does not publish its fiber blend, and it is the least expensive of the three.

So a review that says Jaanuu is buttery soft and a review that says it feels like FIGS can both be right. They are probably describing different fabrics. Check which line a product page says before you compare it to anything.

Practical takeaway: when you compare Jaanuu to FIGS, compare fabric to fabric. ULTRAsoft against FIONx is a soft drape against a smoother, more structured stretch. ULTRAlast is the closer match on price.

Fit and sizing

FIGS publishes some of the widest size coverage in premium scrubs: women's XXS to 6XL with petite (26.5 inch), regular (28.5 inch) and tall (30.5 inch) pant lengths, and men's XS to 6XL with short, regular and tall inseams. Select colors also come in high-rise and maternity.

Jaanuu's women's range runs XXS to 3X, also with petite, regular and tall lengths. The fit is usually described as tailored with a slightly softer drape than FIGS. The DTCetc comparison site notes that Jaanuu can run large on petite frames, which is worth knowing if you usually size down.

Titan’s women’s line runs XS to XL with a true petite inseam on both pants, and the men’s line runs S to XXL. Every piece is cut from the same stretch-twill driMED®, so the feel is the same across every style.

Price, piece by piece

At full price the three land close together. A FIGS Casma top and Zamora jogger come to $94. A Jaanuu UltraLAST top and pant run about $82 to $92, and UltraSOFT runs about $98 to $112. A Titan Athena top and Calypso jogger are $85 bought separately or $75 as a set.

Both FIGS and Jaanuu discount specific colors regularly, and those markdowns are often final sale, so check the return terms before you buy a clearance piece.

Where each one draws complaints

FIGS: price, and how warm FIONx runs for some people

The most consistent FIGS complaint in nurse forums is cost, especially once you need a full rotation of four or five sets. A smaller but recurring one is warmth: in our reading for the Hypothesis review, an r/nursing commenter said she switched brands because FIGS made her far too hot on shift.

If that is your sticking point: driMED® pulls moisture off the skin through the yarn itself rather than a surface finish, so it stays cooler as a shift goes on, and a full women's set is $75.

Jaanuu: pockets, and consistency between runs

An older Student Doctor Network thread comparing the two brands has one poster returning Jaanuu because a phone did not fit the front pocket and there was no pen slot. More recent reviews mention sizing that shifts between production runs and pilling on the softer fabrics. Pocket layouts vary a lot by style, so check the specific product rather than the brand.

If that is your sticking point: every Titan scrub is cut from the same stretch-twill driMED® fabric, so the feel and fit do not change from one style to the next.

Who owns Jaanuu now

In May 2025, VentureOn Management bought substantially all of Jaanuu's assets. The announcement said the Jaanuu name, team and operations would continue under CEO Michael Alexander. Jaanuu was originally co-founded by pediatrician Dr. Neela Sethi Young and Shaan Sethi.

FIGS, founded in 2013 by Heather Hasson and Trina Spear, is publicly traded and growing. It reported $196.6 million in revenue for Q2 2026, up 29%, and has been adding non-scrub clothing and retail stores.

Frequently asked questions

Is Jaanuu better than FIGS?

Neither wins outright. Jaanuu's ULTRAsoft fabric is softer and drapier, while FIGS FIONx is smoother and more structured. FIGS covers far more sizes (up to 6XL against Jaanuu's 3X) and more colors. Pick on fabric feel and size range, since price and return terms are very similar.

Are FIGS and Jaanuu the same price?

Close. A FIGS women's Casma top and Zamora jogger total $94 at full price. Jaanuu UltraLAST sets run about $82 to $92 and UltraSOFT about $98 to $112. Both discount colors often.

Which is softer, FIGS or Jaanuu?

Most people find Jaanuu ULTRAsoft softer. It is 65% rayon, while FIGS FIONx is 72% polyester with 21% rayon. Jaanuu's ULTRAlast line feels closer to FIGS.

Does Jaanuu run small or large?

Jaanuu is usually described as a tailored fit. The DTCetc comparison notes it can run large on petite frames, and some reviews mention sizing that varies between production runs, so use the free US size exchange if a first order is off.

What are the return policies for FIGS and Jaanuu?

Both accept returns within 30 days on unworn, unwashed items and exclude final sale and embroidered pieces. FIGS adds exchanges or store credit up to 60 days on core styles. Jaanuu offers free US size exchanges.

Who owns Jaanuu?

VentureOn Management acquired substantially all of Jaanuu's assets in May 2025, keeping the brand, team and operations in place under CEO Michael Alexander.

Where Titan fits

FIGS and Jaanuu both have loyal followings.

Titan exists for the person who mostly cares how the fabric behaves at hour ten. driMED® builds its moisture wicking into the yarn rather than a surface finish, dries up to four times faster than cotton, and its odor control held up through 50 wash cycles in independent ASTM testing.

If that is the problem you are solving, a $75 set is a low-risk way to test it against what you wear now.
